    Pseudomonas putida is a Gram-negative bacterium. It is a motile, nonfermentative aerobe that can utilize acetate as carbon source and ammonium sulphate as nitrogen source. Pseudomonas is capable to form PHA granules (bioplastic). It is the host strain used for the PHASTAG Technology.
