Biomedal, S.L. participates in an European project funded by the 7th Framework Program: “Gaining Productivity, Cost Efficiency and Sustainability in the Downstream Processing of Bio Products by novel Integration and Intensification strategies” (INTENSO). It is a 7 million euros funded project which is led by the Jabobs University in Germany and counts with the co-participation of 16 companies and universities from 11 different countries. The duration of the project is 4 and a half years.
Biomedal’s mission is to develop novel applications for its proprietary Aqueous Two Phase Purification Systems for tagged proteins, and to cost-effectively produce ligands for monoclonal antibody purification.
